Authorities say Ellie was traveling with Gene “Geno” Carter in a brown early 2000 model Toyota Camry. It is unclear which direction they were headed. Ellie is 5’4″ tall and 110 pounds. She has brown hair and hazel eyes. According to the Minnesota BCA, Ellie has a pierced nose and ears as well as a butterfly tattoo between her shoulder blades. She has a “freedom is dirty” tattoo on her left arm.

A man last seen traveling with an Itasca County woman who has been missing since early November is wanted by police for questioning.

The Itasca County Sheriff's Office says Gene "Geno" Carter, 50, is also wanted for felony-level warrants. Eleanore "Ellie" Halverson, 45, was last seen with Carter on Nov. 4 in Northome, Minnesota.

Ellie's car was located in Duluth. Gene was arrested nearby and is being held at the Itasca County Jail. He doesn't seem to be offering any information on Ellie's whereabouts. No forensics report from the car that I know of as of yet.They were both involved in an assault prior to going missing. Innocent until proven guilty so please don't judge. Her family is holding out hope that she may just be scared and hiding.
