Authorities tentatively identified the remains as that of someone reported missing a few years ago, said Sheriff Randy Willis. A positive identification will be made through the examination of dental records, and could be released Monday.

The Stevens County Sheriff's Office along with the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension responded to the scene and recovered the remains. They were sent to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner where they were identified as 46-year-old Jack Leroy Eisel.

You were correct Carl.

RIP Jack. Prayers sent for his family and friends.
