MN - Harvey Louis Carignan location or updated information

I'm looking for information or updates about Harvey Louis Carignan, known as "The Want-Ad Killer", a serial killer sentenced in 1975 for the murder of 5 women in Washington state and Alaska. To the best of my knowledge, he is serving a life sentence at the Minnesota Correctional Facility in Faribault. However, the Minnesota Department of Corrections Offender Search is showing no results for a search of his name.

Does anyone have any updated information on him or know where he may have been moved to? He would be 91 years old at this time, if he is still alive.

Thank you! I was using his name to search on the Offender Search website and that was giving me no results. The Vickie Lamberton link you shared has his OID number, so I used that to search and his Offender Information page did come up! Seems the Minnesota Offender search tool is just having some problems, then.

My dad discovered the body of one of the women that Carignan murdered so Carignan's case has always interested me. I know he'll be in prison for life but I do check in from time to time to see if he's still alive.

I was Harvey stepdaughter 45 years ago when he killed Cathy Sue Miller in Seattle that I would love to get into contact with you considering you're very interested in him right now I'm on Facebook as Karen Lewis and that would be in Florida so you can private message me there I seem to float from state-to-state and name to name that would only be because of him

I found a small article from the Albert Lea Evening Tribune, April, 25, 1975, about him in my files regarding the 1972 kidnapping of Virginia Piper.
