Levang was last seen in Mounds View, Minnesota on May 15, 1970. He has never been heard from again. His driver's license, Social Security card and other documents were left behind when he vanished. Few details are available in his case.
Paul Edward Levang – The Charley Project
In my search I came across some documents. Paul Levang was living at 1009 Montclair Ave Mounds View MN. He was a truck driver and a Scout Master of Troop 212. In January 1970 according to the following documents Paul was accused of indecent liberties with children. It states in a January 19, 1970 letter that there was a warrant out for his arrest but his whereabouts were unknown at that time. I do not know if Paul was ever arrested. Charley Project says he was last seen in May 1970. I could find nothing else on Paul, he is not listed on any state or county police websites. It does not appear they are or were actively searching for him. It is possible he ran off to escape the charges and disappeared voluntarily. It is also possible that someone did away with him because of the charges against him. Maybe someone can dig up more info.
