The Rochester Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating a woman who was last seen on Monday.
Priyanka Dipak Patel, 20, of Grand Meadow, was last seen Monday morning at Rochester Community and Technical College when she met with her brother, according to police.
“At this time we do not have any evidence that Ms Patel has been placed in harm’s way,” Capt. Casey Moilanen wrote in an email. “Law enforcement and the family want to ensure Ms Patel is safe and are asking the public to please contact us if they have information regarding Ms Patel’s whereabouts.”
When her brother went back to pick her up at 3 p.m., Patel never came out of the building, police said.
There is reason to believe she may have traveled to the Chicago, an area where she lived until January.
