MISSING PERSON ALERT: The Willmar Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing juvenile. Rebeca Sugey Reyes, 15, is 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighs 106 pounds, and has long, straight black hair and brown eyes. Rebeca was last seen leaving her residence in the 1000 block of 30th Street NW in Willmar on April 25. She was wearing a white T-shirt with a blue floral pattern and carrying a black backpack. Anyone with information on Rebeca’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Willmar Police Department at 320-235-2244 or dial 911.

Authorities say that a 15-year-old missing since late April might be with a 23-year-old man.

The BCA says Reyes’ family believes she is with a 23-year-old man named Roni Alexis Vasquez Borges.

Borges and Reyes were reportedly involved with each other previously when they were in Nicaragua.

It is believed that Borges may be using a different name in the United States.

Missing teen in Willmar, police need help

Surveillance video shows Reyes leaving her home alone around 9:15 p.m. She was discovered missing around 2:00 a.m. the next day.

I think I have found Roni Alexis Vasquez Borges's Facebook page. His page states that he studied at UNAN-Managua, a public university in Nicaragua, and he currently resides in Appleton, Wisconsin. Wilmar, MN to Appleton, WI is roughly a 6 hr and 30-ish minute drive. Assuming that she left during the middle of the night, I think this drive time can be cut shorter, considering there is far less traffic during the night than in the day. Regardless to say, escaping to Wisconsin isn't a far reach.

There are 9 neighborhoods, 23 affordable housing complexes, 475 section 8 complexes, 37 public housing buildings, 1092 approved low-income housing properties. I would think that there a big chance he's somewhere there.

Just for reasonable thought, no parent would approve of their 15-year-old daughter having relations with a 23-year-old man. Rebeca has a history of running away. It would only make sense to go across state lines to be with him.

Regardless, these my own thoughts. They should be left up to interpretation. Everyone is innocent until proven guilty.

Update: I have contacted the Wilmar police department and gave the information I found. I really am unsure as to if this information has already been made aware to the local police department, but I thought I'd give a possible tip anyways. I have been told that a detective will reach out to me shortly, I will keep the forum updated. Thank you!
Update 2: The detective gave me a call. The specific detective that made contact with me stated he has not read Rebeca's case. I gave all the formation I could. Hopefully something is done about this, and the public gets more information. I really doubt that the detective will reach out to me again. Regardless, If I find or hear anything new I will update this forum.
