The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating 68-year-old Russell Anthony Coyle who was last seen in Kelliher, Minnesota on April 24th, 2025.

Family and friends report not seeing or hearing from Russell after he made arrangements with a friend to watch his dog on the same day.

Russell is described as a 5’7”, approximately 200-pound Caucasian male with blue eyes. Coyle commonly has a beard, wears glasses, and carries a plier’s holder on his belt.

The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office learned Russell could have left town headed “west” to find work but his current whereabouts are unknown.

Russell does not commonly drive a motor vehicle and was known to rely on family and friends for transportation.

BCA ask for help finding man missing for nearly 1 month

Law enforcement is asking the public to keep an eye out for a missing 68-year-old man who was last seen in Beltrami County.

I'm doubtful he had a vehicle of his own. He lost his license several years ago after 2 felony DWI's in the same county and other charges for which he served time in jail and 10+ years total probation. However it looks like he had arrests for driving without a drivers license as late as 2023 so he had access to a vehicle. I'm glad his family was making sure he got around safely, but whether on foot or traveling by car, if he is still abusing alcohol he could be in danger. I hope he contacts his famil soon.
