GUILTY MO - Brittany Gorman, 29, found deceased, Mountain View, 20 May 2020 *estranged husband arrest*

I expect he's the one who called her mother telling her that Brittany was seen covered in blood. An evil monster would want to inflict pain on her mother too. jmo

A random passer-by would call 911 instead, and likely wouldn't know how to connect with her mother.
I was just going to ask about the witness who saw her walking from the area covered in blood? That was unbelievable from the get go.
Senseless and as usual who suffers the most? The kids ...

And he was posting stuff on social media. Glad LE kept him on their list of suspects.

Assume the second degree murder charge is the result of no proof he planned it in advance. I dunno, he was posting photos of his new girlfriend on FB, so he may have planned her death. The trick will be for prosecutors to prove it.

RSBM
Sadly, he changed his profile picture on May 21st, the day after Brittany was reported missing. The photo is of he and his new girlfriend. You may be right. Brittany's disappearance and death may have been premeditated. :( Far too many "out with the old, in with the new" cases in these threads. Heartbreaking.

She was almost 30...not so young.
We have colleges here. She had the opportunity if she wanted it. A lot of people in this area work in other states and return monthly.

There would not have been a reason for either of them to have been at Buck Hollow when he could have met her at Signal as he said he did. The store has cameras. Cops can verify.

Houston Herald saying he denied ever being at Buck Hollow until two witnesses remembered seeing him there at her truck on passenger side..about 8 p.m. He then stated there had been an altercation and she had a knife. He choked her and she "fell on the knife"....He put her in his Trailblazer...he says...and drove to the CC road beyond West Plains...getting rid of knife on the way.
I find all of this unbelievable. Not sure why I feel this way. Still believe more than one person involved.

The facts are clear as mud in this case. I'm beginning to suspect self harm. Hope I'm way off base and Brittany is found safe.
Way off base

So sorry to hear this, yet again. And I don't think she fell on "her" knife. :(:(:mad:

I mean, someone has been arrested and charged with her murder, so I think self-harm is off the table.

Quite obviously my post preceded the discovery of Brittany's body, clearly at this point we know her death was not related to self-harm. Cherry-picking a post and making a rude comment, is uncalled for. I'm squarely in the victim's corner in all cases.

If there was really a struggle, he choked her, she stabbed him in the shoulder, and then fell on the knife that was hers, why didn't he seek medical treatment for both himself and her instead of dumping her body in the woods and disposing of the knife? Seriously, ya got nothing better than that.

How can you murder someone and get 21 years. Just blows my mind. I just saw that someone (54 years old) that murdered in broad daylight one of my kid's classmates (18 years old) got 13 years for 1st degree murder. He was a repeated felon
