An endangered person advisory has been issued for a woman who went missing in Kirksville but has contacts in the Kansas City area.

Courtney M. Shearer is 20 years old and went missing from 500 N. Baltimore in Kirksville at 7:46 p.m. on Friday.

She was last seen on foot, leaving a Hy-Vee in Kirksville, and has not been heard from since.

She stands 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. She has brown hair and hazel eyes, and was wearing a black hoodie and black pants.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, she has a diagnosed mental illness and does not have her medication with her.

According to officials, Shearer is known to abuse drugs and has paranoid schizophrenia. She does not have her medications on her.
