For the record, Michael refused to obey the lawful order to get on the sidewalk by not doing it. Whether he spoke or not is moot.

That whole, "newly released video" (from the contractors) just strikes me the wrong way.
First of all, they're 50 feet away (seemed further to me, since my house is 50' long, and it sure didn't look like looking at my house from one end to the other), not 5, or even 10. Right there, I'm wondering how accurate what they saw/heard is. On the video I've seen, they (the news media), make it look like when the contractor is raising his arms, he's also voicing the, "he had his arms in the air...!" comment. Not true. This was done, imo, to foster sensationalism. He does say something about, "he had his hands in the air!", but him (the contractor) actually raising his arms seems like it was done in more of a "wtf!" gesture. If these guys were working, it seems more likely that it was the gunshots that alerted them, and made them stop what they were doing and look over. They didn't see everything that happened from the beginning, so how they can analyze what happened is beyond me.

And then a man pulls up in a car (right after this happens), and says, "he was no threat at all!" Where did THAT guy come from? In a car, no less? Was he parked on the street by MB and OW, and then drove around in a circle to the contractors?

Just seems odd to me. Looking from the distance the video is shot, it would be difficult to see and hear all they said they did...with a comfortable degree of accuracy, anyway.

Some aspect or to some degree, yes. How council meetings work? I don't remember any of that being taught. Only the bigger picture stuff. President. Legislature. Governor. Those type of things.

It was taught years ago. Civics class in High School. They went right on up the line with the different parts of our government as to how the US Government works. Not sure they still do that but obviously there is a need. It was also stressed to us that we need to vote to have a voice. Getting involved within the community was also encouraged. Times have changed. jmo

Exactly. And if you aim for an arm or a leg you can be looking at charges for assault. Not a good thing.

But Officer Wilson did hit MB 4 times in the arm before bullets striking MB in the eye and the top of his head. Anyone think there was a chance that OW might have known MB from the neighborhood? It would be awfully hard to kill someone you knew, even casually. Just my opinion, but the shots to the arm will have to be explained.
