MO Supreme Court assigns judge to Vaden case


The Missouri Supreme Court has assigned a judge to handle the case of Jalen Vaden.

The honorable Judge Michael J. Cordonnier has been assigned to preside. Cordonnier is a circuit court judge in Green County. The case of Jalen Vaden went through the hands of all six of Jasper County's circuit and associate judges.

Six judges??!! But of course no date...

The Court site shows the same information as what you have @Niner . It doesn't show a trial date or a hearing date as of now.

BREAKING: Jalen Vaden pleads guilty, sentenced in court today


JASPER COUNTY, Mo. - The defense attorney in a child abuse death case makes a surprise move in court today.

Attorney Tracey Martin announced in Jasper County Circuit Court that Jalen Vaden, 23, would be changing his plea to guilty of abuse of a child resulting in death.

Greene County Judge Michael Cordonnier accepted the plea deal, which included a 22 year prison sentence.

I am surprised after a year that Jalen decided to plead Guilty. I am glad he did to save the family from a trial. I hope prison is not kind to him. imo
