It is possible they were not all killed at the same time and there are various degrees of decomp of the bodies.

Good point. That would make it more likely to be the work of Serial Killer, although it could be multiple people just using the same "dumping ground".
The fact that it's two men and one women disuades me from the Serial Killer theory though. It is possible. But many Serial Killer's have a preference for victims.

Still, some just like to kill for the thrill/robbery and don't care what sex they are. I believe Hilton would fit that description as he killed both men and women.

There was a body found in KC last fall(ish) that I swear was found in or near the Blue River. I wish I could remember who it turned out to be and the circumstances. I will try to go back and look. Anyone else remember this?

I remember, but I don't recall the circumstances.

Whoa, Summer Shipp

Fishermen found the human skull and remains Saturday in the Little Blue River near Highways 78 and 7. Some clothing was also found wrapped in fishing line.

ETA: I just mapped them out and they are 15 Miles apart though. Still interesting. Good memory AJ.

YES! Thanks SQ!! You're the rockstar of the day! :)

If I remember correctly, it seemed like a detective in the Shipp case made some mention of finding several bodies in that area, or several bones in the river bed?? I might be dreaming now, I will research. Thanks again SQ!!

ETA: No, I made that up. One article said bones and articles of clothing were found, and I remembered that to be bones not belonging to Shipp. Either way, sad case. Shipps memorial service was actually held about a week ago, March 28, 2008.
