Court records in MO show 3 pages of various cases, some vehicular, some criminal, and at least 3 in different years requiring her to pay child support to various parties. All of which may well be unrelated to her going missing but the most recent criminal case was in June of this year. https://www.courts.mo.gov/cnet/welcome.do Hoping for some closure for all those involved who care for her.

Homeland Security Response Team? What is that? and why involved here
"Team members are trained to deploy nationwide to support recovery from natural and manmade disasters or other similar events in which law enforcement and humanitarian support may be requested or required. The training includes instruction in first aid, land navigation, field patrol, rescue ropes, defensive tactics and disaster response training" (from the link below)

I'm guessing that if they had DHS nearby and local LE needed some help with the search due to water and or terrain features they requested technical assistance. This part of the DHS website has an article about team members were used during flooding in LA to help rescue people to give an idea of some of the support they offer SAR.
