Families of Michael Brewer and Keith Wasmer are holding out hope their loved ones are safe. They say both men went to the Longview Lake Marina to meet a man named Sam. Why? No one seems to know, but they don't care either, they just want Keith and Michael to come home.

Keith is a father of a 1-month-old son.

"Keith had just came into a lot of money, and everybody thinks that he has all this money on him, and I honestly think someone tried to rob them, more so." The money came from a medical settlement. Police did find Keith's car the next, but under suspicious circumstances.

It is only about a 10 minute drive from Grandview to the lake.

Oh no...

"Officers were dispatched to the 12500 block of Raytown Road at 12:49 p.m. Police said a reporting party found two bodies deep in the woods and “led officers there.”
Investigators spent several hours on the scene combing for evidence. So far, a cause of death and the identity of the individuals have not been released.

Meanwhile family members of two men reported missing out of Grandview are waiting for answers.

Michael Brewer, 29, and his friend Keith Wasmer, 25, were in that area near Longview Marina on August 6. The two were scheduled to meet someone. Then they disappeared."

Tragic and awful and sudden... so very very sad for the families and friends...

from the link (which may be updated by the time others get to it): the man that Wasmer and Brewer met may be the same man who led officers on a police chase and deadly car crash over the weekend. That suspect, Samuel Delozier, is charged with involuntary manslaughter and sits in jail.

Emphasis on MAY...

I hope this is the person that is of interest for these 2 men who were found deceased.

They went to meet a man named "Sam". NOT 100% positive but on the news they said one of the 2 men said this Sam was a 'friend'.
I'm wondering if they met 'online'?
Also, one of the 2 men had just come into a lot of $ via a medical settlement. They're wondering if this "Sam" person thought that man would have a lot of $ on his person.

What lured these 2 unfortunate men to Longview Lake? What ruse did 'Sam' use?
Since they were to meet at the Marina, perhaps to look at a boat?

Again, NOT 100% positive.
Hopefully LE already has their man sitting in their jail.
