Also located at the scene was a poodle, Stone’s missing dog, Liberty. Deputies said she was very thirsty.

I wonder if the dog was in the car with her, or outside the car- “at the scene” kind of makes it seem like they were outside the car, especially since Michelle’s body was described as being inside the car.
I think it’s be interesting to know what sources of water are nearby, if any… if there aren’t any I would guess Michelle and her dog haven’t been at this site very long at all if the dog is still alive. Just thinking the condition of the poor pup could definitely give them some clues in the investigation.

The house came up in a video that was in one of the links made by her daughter. Not having seen what the home looked like before I can't give an opinion on the "trashed" part. (I've seen homes that weren't "trashed" be in a surprising state of disarray but her daughters would definitely know what was normal and what was not and they were very concerned as to the state of her home). So sorry for them, they loved her very much.

The daughters talked about things that were in the home that had been thrown out of the home on to the lawn. A heavy planter pot that had been tipped over, and everything thrown out of the trunk of her car (especially items for the upcoming wedding of her daughter). These items were thrown out of the car on to the driveway. So very sad!
