Could he be Charles Terrance Heese?

Charles Terrance Heese Went missing June 5th 1999 in parkville Missouri

The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)

JMO I think it's unlikely this UID is CTH. I noticed the photos of CTH in NamUs were from ca. 1973, many years before he went missing in 1999. CTH was 44 when he went missing in 1999, and the UID was thought to be 26 - 36 years old and deceased between 1985 and 1997. They would have had to be mistaken on both age and the date he passed- away for them to be a match...

ETA: CTH doesn't seem to have a thread here. I will try to start one next time I'm online.

This is odd. Here's the current ruleouts list:

The following people have been ruled out as being this decedent:

First Name Last Name Year of Birth State LKA

Anthony Allen 1962 Arkansas
Steve Arrowood 1956 North Carolina
Ronnie Bolin 1962 Missouri
Gary Brumley 1948 Missouri
Clay Foreman 1979 Missouri
Maxwell Grahm 1950 South Carolina
James Morris 1944 Kentucky
Richard Rounsaville 1958 Oklahoma
Billy Storkson 1965 Oklahoma
Jackie Urich 1960 Oklahoma
Robert Weems 1967 Alabama

But Steve Alyea was on the list when I posted it in 2014. He seems to have been removed. His Namus page is still accessible, so I don't think he's been located, but it seems odd.

(aside: this is why I post the ruleouts lists...)

Current ruleouts:
Anthony Allen 1962 Arkansas
Steve Alyea 1961 Missouri
Steve Arrowood 1956 North Carolina
Gary Brumley 1948 Missouri
Maxwell Grahm 1950 South Carolina
James Morris 1944 Kentucky
Billy Storkson 1965 Oklahoma
Jackie Urich 1960 Oklahoma
Robert Weems 1967 Alabama
In Steven Alyea's exclusion list, #UP8023 is still listed as excluded too.

I'm curious about Robert Ronald Tippit as well as possible match. Not listed on either exclusion list. DLC is listed at Jan 1 1980, but from the circumstances of disappearance it doesn't sound like that date is very definitive.

Circumstances of Disappearance
Robert Tippit was last seen in 1977 or 1978. He may have traveled to California. In 1979, while in California, Tippit testified in court against a suspect in a prostitution case and was subsequently beaten up for being involved and referenced people being after him. Tippit returned to Topeka, Kansas shortly thereafter, then moved to Kansas City.

I know several people have mentioned this MP as a possibility, but they really ought to compare Steven George Alyea to this UID. Steven has dental, fingerprints, and DNA identifiers available. It sounds like they only found a skull (with a bullet) and some lower extremity bones, so it’s not out of the realm of possibility that they didn’t find a pacemaker with the body. He leaves his residence on a Thursday morning with a large sum of cash heading to Lamar, MO. I’m curious what he did for employ, as he was also wearing a gold and stainless steel Raymond Weil watch which is a moderately expensive brand. Someone jacked him for his large sum of cash, fancy watch, and car in Nevada, MO before he made it the next 20 or so miles down the road to Lamar, MO. Did he travel this north/south route often enough that it was a pre-planned robbery? Steven Alyea is the most likely fit both circumstantially and facially IMO

"In December of 2020, Dr. Jennifer Bengtson and her anthropology students at Southeast Missouri State University reached out to the Missouri State Highway Patrol to offer their assistance with this case. Dr. Bengtson and her team will inventory the remains and create new reports on age-at-death, biological sex, and ancestry estimates, applying more recently developed forensic anthropological techniques in their reassessment. Students will examine weathering patterns on the remains in an attempt to refine the PMI and prepare material for specialized microscopic and isotope analysis to augment the age at death estimate and uncover chemical clues about where Vernon County John Doe may have lived as a child."

Steven does seem like the best match - disappeared from Kansas City, MO (A), supposed to be traveling to Lamar, MO (B), vehicle found in Fayetteville, AR (C), and may have been going to Siloam Springs, AR (D). John Doe was found along the same route he would have most likely been traveling to get to any of the destinations, IMO.

No new exclusions.
Hi, just found this page. Robert “Bobby” Tippit was my uncle. Some of the information is in correct. Not sure how to clarify it.

If it helps, the main thread for his missing person case is here: MO - MO - Robert Ronald Tippit, 36, Kansas City, 1 Jan 1980

Also thought I should advise that the admin team likes to verify that people are family members/are actually related to cases they claim to be before letting them say things without providing already public sources. I’m not sure how to initiate that process though.
