December 18 marks the 12th anniversary since Phoenix Coldon went missing. She was last seen leaving her family’s home in Spanish Lake on December 18, 2011.

She was last seen leaving her family’s home in Spanish Lake on December 18, 2011. Her car was later discovered abandoned in East St. Louis, and since then, no further clues have emerged regarding her whereabouts.

• She disappeared December 18, 2011 after leaving her parents home in Spanish Lake, MO
• She was a student at University of Missouri St Louis - UMSL
• According to her mother, it was a normal Sunday afternoon, with shopping at the mall, church and Sunday dinner.
• She left home about 3 pm in her black 1998 Chevy Blazer. She was wearing gray sweatpants and a dark hoodie
• Her car was found 3 hours later, in the middle of the street at 9th St and St. Clair Ave. in East St. Louis, IL with the engine running. I seem to recall reading at least one of the car doors was open
• East St. Louis, IL is a high crime area. Stolen/hijacked cars are sometimes abandoned there.
• Her phone and bank activity ceased
• Oxygen TV claims to have found information indicating Phoenix had another cell phone besides the one her parents provided her.

**BUMPING** for Phoenix and family. St. Louis is a dangerous place. I hope she's still alive. If she was trafficked, she could be anywhere. Unfortunately, I don't have a good feeling about it.

That video of her that was found in her hard drive may have been a somewhat subtle message to her folks that she was going to be okay and would be in witness protection. I'm may be paraphrasing but it went something like, "I can't wait to start the NEW me over." I was listening to a podcast and her sister was on their discussing the case. This whole time, I had no idea Phoenix was adopted by Goldia. Based on the podcast, the biological mom had some mental health challenges. Can’t remember name of podcast but the episode is from November 2024 and her sisters name is Claudia.

I need to try to find that podcast. I thought Phoenix was adopted by Goldia's husband, Mr Colden. but thought she was born to Goldia Reeves-Colden, which is why there are separate birth certificates. AND I had no clue there was a sister. My head is spinning.

I listened to it myself some time back and I feel the same way. Has Goldia come out and publicly admitted to adopting Phoenix herself? I'm a bit skeptical of Claudia otherwise.
