Mom, 73, Banned From Hospital For Tapping Nurse

The nurse was blathering on about the woman's brain-damaged son's finances right in front of him, so the mom tapped her twice to get her attention and shush her. The hospital invoked their "no touching" policy and permanently banned the woman, who had flown halfway around the world to be with her son. It's outrageous, IMO.

By the time I posted this, it had been resolved. It's still ridiculous, though.

The visits between Spence and her son, Gary Abbott, 52, are permitted to be just an hour long. When on the neuroscience unit, where Abbott is being treated, they must be must be supervised by a security guard.
