Daily telegraph is in DIRE need of a fact checker.

Witnesses said the woman was rushing across the street,

I don't mean to be insensitive, but look both ways before crossing!

she was struck by the bus which was carrying primary school children, including the woman's older daughter.

.....

the accident was everyone's worst nightmare.

"For the woman, her child, the bus driver, witnesses, this is an horrific scene," he said.

Shouldn't it say children? And shouldn't it have been the biggest nightmare for her older child that was on the bus that ran over her?

What has journalism come to?!?

To be honest, with the way some school bus drivers zoom around like maniacs, she may have looked before trying to cross and still been taken by surprise. Without more specific info from the investigators, it's impossible to say whether she just made a mistake or if there was more to it than that.

Either way, her family has all of my sympathy, especially that older daughter.
