MS - 12-year-old dies in Russian Roulette; murder charges brought

A 12-year-old boy is dead after playing Russian Roulette with peers in Jackson, Mississippi, police say.

Following the death officers arrested two juveniles and one adult Friday. Police say the two juveniles are being charged with murder and the adult is being charged with accessory after the fact of murder.

I wonder how old the juveniles are who got arrested. Playing Russian Roulette is very, very dumb and a 12-year-old should know it's a stupid thing to do and could very likely kill them. If the others were goading or bullying him into playing, and not playing themselves, then a murder charge seems deserved.

That said, if this is a case of children being very dumb and they were all legitimately playing and just not thinking things through at all, I don't see how murder charges are going to help anything.

So far facts are very scarce, though.

Is there no end to this madness of kids with guns?
Three young men's lives -- one of them dead, and the other two will never be the same. Prison, rehab, whatever, being with other youths who have possibly also done bad things. At least 3 families thrown into this, and none of them will ever be the same.
Sad and maddening at the same time. SMH.
