They've indicated he might try to head to FL b/c of family ties there.

The sheriff’s department is asking anyone who sees a beige-colored 2005 Nissan Altima with the license tag number LYG-329 to call the sheriff’s department at 662-234-6421. The vehicle has damage to the windshield and rear bumper.

OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) – Investigators are looking for a missing girl and they believe her husband may be involved. 1

According the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department, 18-year-old Ariel Lamb was reported missing Wednesday.

Her husband Tyler Lamb is believed to be with her and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Frightening. I'm confused by the report that she left her mothers home unexpectedly and was taken by her husband. I feel like she is in great danger. Sadly, we've heard the excuses (from abuser) before. "I'm so sorry honey! It will NEVER happen again!"

Ariel was with her mother at her home in Lafayette County on Wednesday before she disappeared. Tyler Lamb was not there with her at the time. Ariel's mother left for a short period of time. When she returned, Ariel was gone.

Police believe she is with Tyler.

A state wide BOLO was issued for a beige 2005 Nissan Altima with a license plate LYG329.

Ariel is pregnant.

He sure did beat on her. Her left eye is swollen and bruised, and her right cheek and chin are also bruised. I hope she stays away from this beater because it usually only gets worse.

I really hope he doesn't think that if he disposes of her he will "get away" with the DV charge against him.

She's so vulnerable. You know this isn't the first time he hit her, and now she's pregnant - it's the most dangerous time for a woman with a violent partner. She's so young and already gone through so much! I can't even begin to imagine being married at 18, such a huge responsibility I was nowhere near ready for.

I hope they find her safe and soon.

Ariel was with her mother in Tula, located about 10 minutes outside of Oxford, when she disappeared as her mother stepped out momentarily at 9 a.m. on Wednesday. She is believed to be with her husband, Steven Tyler Lamb.

As of 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, no further developments have been announced regarding Ariel Jackson Lamb’s disappearance.
