Sickening. What a waste of lives. I hope these women pay dearly.

One thing mentioned in the article is a woman knew those kids were left alone at times and she thought that was wrong.
I'm sorry but IMO that woman should have contacted the authorities, if she had it's very possible all those children would now be alive. If someone is aware of a dangerous situation like this then they have a responsibility to do something about it.

Clara Bell, who sobbed during the brief sentencing hearing, was ordered to spend two years in prison.

There are archived pay-per-view articles that indicate the sister Eugenia also pled guilty to manslaughter, I can't find her sentence.
