I wonder if this could be Kimberly’s remains/personal items.

Could be. Well spotted! Kimberly's NamUs as a Jane Doe seems to have been taken down, so a hit in the system might not be registered. She was found with a bathing suit and some jewellery, but then again, her original case file was destroyed, so who knows?

--------------------------------------------

And how messy are those MS cases, anyway?? Lost and destroyed case files, zero case information about where and when the Does were found, random Does popping up after 30+ years, etc.

I saw at least 2 or 3 similar MS cases added to namus yesterday

Right?! I’ve seen more than a couple of discovery dates for Kimberly’s remains. She was ultimately identified by Othram’s team in 2021, so “remains which were retrieved from an out-of-state institution in 2022” would make sense.

Maybe @othram knows?

Not sure if the remains are connected but DNA testing would tell us.
