Could be. Well spotted! Kimberly's NamUs as a Jane Doe seems to have been taken down, so a hit in the system might not be registered. She was found with a bathing suit and some jewellery, but then again, her original case file was destroyed, so who knows?

Yeah, I just made WS threads for a couple of them. But seriously, no wonder why it takes decades to identify some of these Does when their case have been handled this badly.

Right?! I’ve seen more than a couple of discovery dates for Kimberly’s remains. She was ultimately identified by Othram’s team in 2021, so “remains which were retrieved from an out-of-state institution in 2022” would make sense.

Not sure if the remains are connected but DNA testing would tell us.
