This is down the road from me but I find it sad she hasn’t been identified yet. Besides Amanda Freeman who disappeared in the areas there was the Moody boys who killed 3 people here too. Crazy time period.

A possibility I guess, but at 130lb would she have been wearing size 16 jeans like the UID?

Maybe? My mind was a bit touch and go with various thoughts in my head but I was kind of thinking hip/thigh size/stomach body proportions. Or in my own experience I can be one size in one brand and another in another. Or sizes were different back then.

How do they estimate this? Based/Calculated from bone size/skeletal remains?

Zana Di is a common vintage brand sold online, so the measurements are easily found,

Digging in a bit, I believe the earliest denim is 1998, which contradicts a bit with the "at least 5 years" .

I think we should be looking for someone who is at/above the upper suggested weight range, who went missing in 1998-ish.

For context, I have worn a 14/16 both in that era and now. I am 6ft tall and around 200 lbs. Everyone carries weight differently, and yes we have vanity sizing now, but I am pretty sure a 100 pound woman is wearing a size 16 jeans unless it is a youth size 16. I am also certain a 130 pound woman is not wearing a woman's size 16. A size 6 or a 10? Yes.

Also possible the jeans did not belong to the young woman. From Namus:

Clothing
Clothes found with remains are ZANA DI button blue jeans size 16, pink/silver bra and panties.
Near the Body

Footwear
Leather sandal type shoe size 6W
On the Body

If you guys image search Zana Di button fly demin capri pants, you can see they are not a style that would lend itself to wearing several sizes too large. Namus also estimates the woman's weight at 135. Confusing.

Also, where the underwear is described as pink/silver, I wonder if it is actually a swimsuit? That sounds more like a swimsuit combination to me, especially paired with sandals and capris. Looking at the location on a map, it is in/near a State Forest. I can see an RV Park not far as well. I do not know much about the area, but maybe someone working a summer job? Tourism? Those pants are very much a late 1990s trend. I really don't think she was there 5 years. JMO.
