The Warren County Sheriff’s Department is searching for Louis Hayward, 65, who is missing.

He was last seen Sunday around 4 a.m. on Old Hwy 27 and Clay Street.

His vehicle was found on Indiana Avenue and officials believe is he now walking on foot.

Heyward is a 65-year-old man wearing a long sleeve shirt and dark pants.

Authorities believe medical issues may have caused him to become disoriented.

According to Sheriff Pace, Louis Heyward was reported missing just after 4:00 a.m.

Deputies found his car on Indiana Avenue after getting the report.

Sheriff Pace said he was stuck at a church yard and decided to get out and walk.

His last known sighting was at 11:00 a.m. at the intersection of Clay St. and Old Hwy 27 in Vicksburg across the street from Vicksburg Military National Park.
