TERRY, Miss. —
Volunteers gathered Saturday to search for an 83-year-old Terry man who has been missing for almost two weeks.

Morris Griffith was last seen the afternoon of June 6 walking in the 7200 block of Dry Grove Road. A Silver Alert was issued, but so far, Griffith has not been found.

"I can't help but feel me and my wife and I and his wife can't help but to feel, certainly blaming ourselves that we could have done more to make sure this incident didn't happen," said Victor Crusan, Griffith's son-in-law. "That always crosses the mind of people, I could imagine, in this situation."

Saturday’s search will be led and directed by the Mississippi Chapter of the Cajun Navy.

A search was also held last weekend.

Poor guy. There's another sad part about this in this article:

"Crusan said his family tried to take measures to protect Griffith in the beginning by putting an Apple AirTag in his wallet to keep track of him, but that didn’t last long before it was taken out".

I sure wish that air tag was still on him. Looking at google maps street view Dry Grove Rd. seems so desolate to be walking on. I hope he's safe but I am scared for him.

... it’s possible he could have become confused and gotten lost, he may have been picked up and could be traveling to his hometown, Memphis.
...the Cajun Navy participated in a human remains search near where he went missing, but they didn’t find anything.

“On Wednesday night, they did a search, picked up a couple of scents around the area,” Victor recalled. “On Thursday, we brought another bloodhound in; they searched. The United Cajun Navy gave us a call on Friday, wanted to know how they can assist.”

Last Saturday, the Cajun Navy brought in three scent dogs, and a human remains dog.

“They picked up on the same scents that the other dogs picked up on. Right then and there, they thought we needed to do a more thorough search, and that’s what we’re doing today.
