On 3/18/25 at about 10:18 am officers were dispatched to Crestwood Drive in reference to a deceased 3 year old child, later identified as Aurora Enfinger.

Foul play was suspected and the death was later ruled a Homicide. Detectives obtained a search warrant and began gathering evidence relative to the death. Steroids were also located and recovered.

Both Christian and Samantha Enfinger were arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Distribute.

On 3/20/25 Samantha was additionally charged with Capital Murder.

This is a tragic situation and our thoughts and prayers are with the people that thought well of Aurora. We ask that you pray for those impacted by this horrible crime and never forget this beautiful child.

Detectives executed a search warrant at the home and reportedly found evidence, including steroids, which led to the arrests of Christian and Samantha Enfinger on drug-related offenses. Both were booked for possession with intent to distribute.

On March 20, Samantha was rebooked with capital murder.

Authorities have not released further details regarding the circumstances of the child’s death.

Picayune Police Department responded to Crestwood Drive on Tuesday, March 18, after learning that 3-year-old Aurora Enfinger had died.

Her death was ruled a homicide once investigators determined foul play was involved.

Samantha Enfinger was charged with capital murder as well as possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute. Christian Enfinger was charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute as well.

According to Picayune Police, Samantha Enfinger is Aurora’s step mother and Christian Enfinger is Aurora’s biological father.

Authorities also say the blunt force trauma was inflicted by Aurora’s stepmother, Samantha Enfinger.

Oh wow, her fb page was up yesterday. The articles mentioned steroids but didn't mention any other drugs by name. I have a feeling they're unrelated to the murder and were a good way of locking up Samantha and Christian before they were prepared to add murder charges for Samantha. I wonder if C was present when S beat and killed the poor child, or if he was at work or something. It can't have been the first time though - he had to be aware of something. JMO
