Christiansen, circa 2007

Classification: Endangered Missing

Details of Disappearance
Christiansen was last seen in Butte-Silver Bow County, Montana on November 2, 2007. She has never been heard from again.

A week after her disappearance, her blue 1991 Toyota Tercel with the Montana license plate number 1C-8609 was found on Delmoe Lake Road in Homestake Pass. It was undamaged with no signs of foul play, and women's clothing was in the backseat.

There were no tire tracks in the snow around the vehicle, indicating it had been parked there for several days. Authorities were unable to search the area at the time due to bad weather.

When they finally conducted a search in May 2008, they found no clues as to Christiansen's whereabouts.

Christiansen was a student at Montana Tech at the time of her disappearance. She lived in Butte, Montana and frequently changed residences. She has three children and enjoys rock climbing.

She had a restraining order against her former live-in boyfriend at the time she went missing, but he has not been named as a suspect in her disappearance.

It is uncharacteristic of Christiansen to leave without warning. Her case remains unsolved.

Missing Persons: Brandy Lauren Christiansen - Missing Type: Leaving Home - State:

Her 1991 blue Toyota Tercel was found abandoned on Delmoe Lake Road on Homestake Pass. Search and rescue volunteers spoke with a group of hunters and with another man who regularly walks his dog around there, and both parties said they noticed the car had been parked in a few different places over the 10 or so days it was up there. The car appeared to be undamaged and some female clothes were found in the backseat. At the end of October, a judge issued a temporary restraining order against Brandy's live-in boyfriend, [name removed by me], who was order to stay at least 1,500 feet away from Christiansen, her home, her car, and Montana Tech where she is a student. He also ordered Christianson to vacate the home on Quartz Street, which she shared with [name removed]. She was to be out of the house by the 8th of November....

Wow huge red flag !! The continental divide runs up there. Lots of steep rugged areas in there. There are abandoned rail tracks as well :(

The information above about her car being parked in different places is odd, if true.

I wonder if she did have to move residences around that time, did she have a new one? Was she temporarily homeless?
