Last contact with family by phone was September 11, 2024. Then family received an Email on October 12, 2024, indicating that Elvira was going to work on a farm somewhere in Wyoming.

The Billings Police Department is seeking the public's help in locating ELVIRA KRUPNIK.

She is a 32 year old female, 125 lbs and 5'4" tall. She has green eyes and brown hair.

Elvira was last known to be residing in Billings but may be in the Wyoming area. She was last known to be in the Billings area around the 1st week of August.

If you have seen her or have information that can help us locate her, please contact the Billings Police Department non-emergency at 406-657-8200 and reference 24-69217.

When you google her you find addresses in NY, NJ, PA. What was she doing in MT?
There is a linked in profile (NY) and a facebook account, but I do not post them as there is no photo or one of a child.

Missing in Montana. It looks like she had only just moved to Billings in the summer of 2024. From the East Coast. NJ, NY, PA.

Namus states that the last contact with family by phone was on Sept. 11, 2024 and last contact by email was on Oct. 12, 2024, stating that she was going to work on a farm in Wyoming.

MOO: My first thought is that "she didn't write that email." (Watching too many crime shows....) According to the post by her sister on Next Door (post above), the family reported her missing on Oct. 12, 2024. I think she moved out to Billings with "an ex" and when her family noticed she wasn't posting on social media and reported her missing, "an ex" suddenly fled the country.

Billings Police Department Case #24-69217 states Elvira Krupnik was last known to be in Billings around the 1st week of August.

Wondering what has been done to look for her, in Billings? Around her apartment? For some reason, I feel like the Wyoming idea is meant to try to shift attention away from Billings. Something suspicious IMO.

How do we find her?

I am Elvira's sister. I have more information, but I am afraid to share it here in case of defaming someone, but the circumstances imply that she was killed. Detectives are hard at work, but they cannot apprehend the suspect without any evidence. I do not know what I should share here if he is not guilty. Thank you everyone who picked up on the case and started talking about it. I am the one who wrote the nextdoor post. Help me to understand how this forum works and what I can say and how to trust people here are legitimate.

I'm sorry you have to meet us like this. I'm not one of the administrators here, just a member. The "rules" are posted in the header but to briefly summarize, you must provide links to mainstream media or law enforcement when you state facts. If a person has NOT been named formally as a Person of Interest (POI) by Law Enforcement we can't "sleuth" them here and post what we find. So no links to past criminal history, arrests or any other personal information (including names/addresses, etc.) until a party or parties are named by Law Enforcement. Links or quotes from social media aren't allowed as those would be considered "rumor". You can say something like "interesting comments on the such and such missing persons page", or "in my opinion, I think this may be related", general statements such as that, but nothing that implies fact when there's nothing to support it from msm or LE.

However, if you are connected to the case as a family member, you can become a verified member and, therefore, post more freely without providing the required links. This allows you to share more information without providing links to back up where that information came from.

Please understand that anyone can join Websleuths and make statements. The rules are in place to maintain privacy and safety for those involved in the investigation, including people not named yet as suspects, as well as the other members here.

If you want to become verified, please read RIGHT HERE and begin the verification process.
Any information you provide will be kept in the strictest of confidence. - Grace

I’m sorry to hear that. I’m relatively new to this forum as well, but Grace listed out the basic rules and how to become a verified member, since you are a family member. My heart goes out to you.

Welcome to Websleuths @vk897 , really sorry for your sister and what you are going through. Please do get verified as family member, as Grace explained.
We re here to help and support but as explained rules are indeed in place to protect you and us..
Kind regards, Truth.

V, this is one of ellas old friends from EB (she was friends with my sister and went to prom with me when she was a sophmore so you can likely figure out who I am). I've been checking and hoping that she was safe since I found out she was missing a month ago, and i'm so upset to hear this. I'm so sorry for you and your family's loss. i still hope that somehow she's okay. if i can do anything to help in any way please lmk
