I'm sorry you have to meet us like this. I'm not one of the administrators here
, just a member. The "rules" are posted in the header but
to briefly summarize, you must provide links to mainstream media or law enforcement when you state facts. If a person has NOT been named formally as a Person of Interest (POI) by Law Enforcement we can't "sleuth" them here and post what we find. So no links to past criminal history, arrests or any other personal information (
including names/addresses, etc.) until a party or parties are named by Law Enforcement. Links or quotes from social media aren't allowed as those would be considered "rumor". You can say something like "
interesting comments on the such and such missing persons page", or "i
n my opinion, I think this may be related", general statements such as that,
but nothing that implies fact when there's nothing to support it from msm or LE.
However, if you are connected to the case as a family member, you can become a verified member and, therefore, post more freely without providing the required links. This allows you to share more information without providing links to back up where that information came from.
Please understand that anyone can join Websleuths and make statements. The rules are in place to maintain privacy and safety for those involved in the investigation, including people not named yet as suspects, as well as the other members here.
If you want to become verified, please read
RIGHT HERE and begin the verification process.
Any information you provide will be kept in the strictest of confidence. - Grace
