anyone see a similarity between JD and the man who washed up in Seattle about a month and a half later? the UID doesn't have a PMI listed but as the condition of remains is 'partial with soft tissues' i'd say it wasn't many many months...
Anyone know if a month and half in cold December water is enough to cause partial remains with soft tissue?
UID is 5'8" to 5'11" (JD is 5'10") and age is listed as 30 - 60 years (JD was 32). Pure speculation but the UID was wearing Air Jordan high tops, which I'd associate with the younger end of their age estimate.
Here's the facial reconstruction vs JD's government ID.

I tried to transpose the reconstruction over JD and i didn't do a great job but I think the point still stands... facial length is the same, eyes/nose are in the same position, same chin shape. Mouth is different (obviously because JD is smiling) and the smile causes the cheeks to be wider as well. Ears are lower but JD is tilting his face up a bit.

His ex has just been arrested for drug trafficking and I have a suspicion that she made Justin disappear.

I am assuming you are also from the Flathead that is a similiar story that I have heard and know that his ex girlfriends family is advocating for him, and have also reported that story to the police. However there is no body and no evidence at this point for them to persue.

He and his fiancee seem to have broken up that year which could've definitely pushed him to "disappear" one way or another. If you explore his fiance's FB you will see some really sad statuses and comments. I think they also have 2 sons together. It also appears he went missing earlier in the year, in April, for awhile.

I live in the same valley and know his ex girlfriend's family which is advocating for Justin, he did not just disappear the area he went missing for is known as the Canyon and is remote and people keep to themselves. His ex girlfriend has never shown any

After reading about Justin on his mother's FB page, I have a good idea of why there is so little information being distributed to the media, but I was unsure of how to post the info without violating TOS.

I'll just say this--if I had a missing son that I thought someone had killed, I would just make sure my son's info was in all the databases. That way, if his body was found, he would be identified. There wouldn't be a need for the public to search for my son.

That is well said, I had meet him a couple of times and know the ex's family who has been advocating for Justin there is so much more to the story then what most people have read or seen. The story has been given to the police department and without evidence, a witness, or a body there is not much that can be done. Thank you for continuing as a stranger to advocate for him and his son who will eventually want answers.

Oct. 14—Justin David Icard, 32, went missing on Nov. 6, 2017. On Thursday, he was positively identified as the person whose remains were found in the Flathead River on Sept. 6.

Thank you for the update So sad. They're incredibly lucky that they actually recovered Justin's body after nearly 4 years in the river.
