Omysha the elephant is seen trying to clamber over a ridge but falls

Unable to right herself, she lets out a yelp and mother, Indi, comes running

Using a combination of trunk and tusk, Indi and female relative pull her up

At six-weeks, Omysha is the youngest Asian elephant at the Swiss zoo

Such a wonderful sight to see, the love of a mother for her baby. :)

That is so sweet! Elephants are quite intelligent and most have such a gentle nature. It was so refreshing to witness in that video. It would be a good note to end my day on.

BTW, "Indi" .... I like that name. :D

It was heartwarming to see the mother and another female elephant rush to the rescue. It says on the picture "thunder to the rescue in a cloud of dust". The baby elephant is surrounded by love and protection.

Another video at the same link "dailymail" shows a 40 tonne whale leaping completely out of the water, like a dolphin, effortlessly just like adolphin. I had heard that they sometimes do that, no-one has ever managed to get pictures of it though.
