So I'm not sure if this is the right place for this post (apologies if not!), but I'm looking for some assistance with using the tools on the Murder Accountability Project site, and I'm hoping someone may have some experience?
Specifically, I've spent the last few weeks looking into the case of Marcia King (Buckskin Girl), who was found murdered in 1981. From looking at the data there are 7 unsolved murders in the years surrounding Marcia's case which appear to bear similarities (white females, similar age, strangled) in the same county and neighbouring county. I've managed to download the basic data onto a spreadsheet, but no matter how hard I try I'm struggling to find the actual specific cases. Does anybody know if this is possible using the Murder Accountability Project site? Or the FBI site? I can't even locate media reports on the cases when I've searched the archives, so I'm really struggling. I also assume that by contacting the local police departments they aren't going to hand over case information.
Probably just me being stupid, but hopefully someone can help
