Mystery of the Yorkshire miner found dead with face of 'absolute terror'

Former police officer Alan Godfrey will never forget the shocking sight that greeted him on arrival at a West Yorkshire coal yard in 1980.

The body was that of Yorkshire miner Zigmund Adamski, who had gone missing from his home in Thornfield Crescent at Tingley, near Wakefield, in June 1980.

Mr Godfrey said the dead man's eyes were wide open and "had a look of someone who had seen something or someone that had scared him to death."

I remember reading about this case, very strange indeed. No further forward with an answer for it either. Some very interesting theories to say the least!!

So weird. Poor Mr. Adamski had a complicated family situation, that has not been investigated in details, as it seems. Instead, the local constable was seeing UFOs and writing books about them.

Yeah I'm not sure I should have posted this.

I didn't read down to all the bizarre UFO, aliens and conspiracy theory stuff. And on searching a bit more, that all there seems to be, aliens and ufo theories.

It was most likely something much more mundane.
