How do you tell if a missing person or unidentified person entered in NamUs has DNA available? And then if they do, how do you know if/when that DNA has been run against other possible matches in NamUs/CODIS?
I guess I am wondering how likely it is to find a match in NamUs for someone who is listed as "Unidentified/Unclaimed" compared to an active missing person listing? Is it possible or have they likely all been checked against each other?
