Astronaut Anne McClain has been accused of unlawfully accessing her estranged spouse’s bank account aboard the International Space Station.


McClain and her spouse, Summer Worden, have been engaged in a custody battle over Worden’s six year-old son Briggs after filing for divorce in October 2018.

“Lt. Col Anne McClain has an accomplished military career, flew combat missions in Iraq and is one of NASA’s top astronauts,” NASA said in a statement. “She did a great job on her most recent mission to the International Space Station. As with all NASA employees NASA does not comment on personal, or personnel issues.”

Its unbelievable to think someone so accomplished can stoop so low by committing crimes like this. Yet we have seen even murder cases involving suspects who were NASA scientist, lawyers, doctors, and various other professions.

It certainly shows being accomplished, and intelligent doesnt immune anyone from breaking the law.

Even though they may be booksmart it seems many like this suspect possess very little common sense, and logic.

Or just maybe they are arrogant enough to think they can do whatever they desire without any accountability.

Wasn't there another female astronaut that drove from Texas to FL in a space diaper (so she wouldn't have to stop for bathroom breaks) to kill her ex lover's girlfriend?

I remember that now. Wasn’t that wild? Who knows what what the long term life after affects of space travel could be? I worry about my granddaughters’ future. And their children’s future. Scary to imagine.

I think the headline is a bit sensationalized, especially if she was using a password to an account that had not been changed and has been available for years.

Not sure what the truth is but there has to be better stories for outlets to pursue.

There are just so many things wrong with this whole situation it is amazing.
