Fayetteville man is charged with first-degree murder in the death of his 11-week-old son, who died from complications caused by being shaken.

Tyrone Devon Patten, 20, was arrested last week on charges of attempted first-degree murder and felony child abuse.

Police say the charges were upgraded after the baby died Tuesday.

He also asked if he could be let out on bond but the judge said refused after officials told him baby Aviajon had suffered at least 20 fractures around his ribs.
