Four Arrested In Murder Of 'Lizard Lick Towing' Stars' Son, Fifth Suspect Sought | Oxygen Official Site

Deputies are searching for a fifth suspect nearly one month after the son of two reality TV stars was shot dead.

Harley “Alex” Shirley, 21, was found shot to death at a Sheetz convenience store in Garner, North Carolina, on Feb. 17, according to a statement emailed to Oxygen.com. Johnston County authorities have since arrested two women and two teenage boys in connection with the shooting, which also left a 20-year-old woman paralyzed, Shirley’s family business said in a Facebook post.

Shirley’s parents, Ron and Amy Shirley, starred in the truTV reality series “Lizard Lick Towing.”

On Feb. 19, deputies arrested a 17-year-old male and a 16-year-old male three days later, according to the statement. Both teenagers are being held with juvenile services and have been charged with murder and attempted murder. Because they are minors, their names are not available to the public.

On Feb. 24, Johnston County Sheriff Steve Bizzell announced the arrest of 21-year-old Cassidy Lorene Hunter and charged her with accessory after the fact. She was booked into the Johnston County Jail under a $1 million secured bond. The same day, authorities arrested 38-year-old Diana Sarah Jackson for obstructing justice. She remains under a $100,000 secured bond.

On Thursday, authorities obtained an arrest warrant for a fifth suspect, 19-year-old Ferrell Nicolas Jackson, the statement continued. He is wanted on charges of obstruction of justice.

The shooting occurred during a memorial balloon release honoring Xavier Smith, who was killed in a crash earlier in the week, WRAL reported.

The family told the TV station that the shooting took place on the front lawn and then several men jumped into a car and drove away. A second call then alerted deputies to shooting victims in a parking lot about three miles from the residence, and investigators determined the two calls were related.

Harley Shirley was pronounced dead on the scene, while a 20-year-old woman, whose name has not been released publicly, was transported to an area hospital for serious but non-life-threatening injuries, WRAL reported.
