Unidentified skeletal remains found behind mobile home on January 26, 2022. Suspects have been arrested in the crime. Police believe she was picked up by suspects on Sugar Creek Road and I-85 in Charlotte on August 4th, 2021 at 2:15am. They believe she may have been missing since July 2021.

White female, around 5'7" tall.
Seen in video footage from burial property wearing light t-shirt, shorts, and black shoes with white soles. She was wearing a silicone ring on her left hand.

Welcome to Websleuths @no7! Thanks for starting the thread. You seem to have found a rare trifecta: unidentified remains, also a missing person, and the suspects are already under arrest.

I did a screen capture from the press conference video showing the unknown victim. Hopefully this can be solved quickly.

She doesn't appear to be listed in Namus yet.

Re: Chyann. I think I found her Facebook where she appears currently active and posting pictures, so probably not her.

Yeh, her circumstances at NamUs seemed kind of odd. Not many 22 year olds go missing by sneaking out their bedroom window.

I'm confused. If they believe she was picked up in August, why do they think she went missing in July?

Same question here! They're not giving up any more information right now.

Theory: There are two suspects and one tipster with knowledge. I'm wondering if she was kidnapped in July for sex trafficking, picked up by suspects for "service," they killed her, and someone was angry about it and tipped police.

Fact: The Sugar Creek/I-85 area she was picked up from is known for sex work:

Combating crime near Sugar Creek and I-85 the hotel corridor

That woman does NOT look like she's 22 years old....more like 62. Her legs are extremely thin, so thin that the condition appears pathological, some sort of health problem. She might have been a long-term methamphetamine addict.

Possible. One of the suspects might have flipped on the other(s). LE might have talked to people who knew her in August who knew when she arrived in the area.

It's hard to see a lot in the clip, but she just looks so incredibly thin. She also appears to me to be quite young. Law enforcement must have info that is leading them with the various info they are providing - where she was picked up, that she likely went missing in July 2021. The area she was picked up is of course a major interstate; she really could be from anywhere.

I found that as well. Here is a comparison of an image from a newscast on the top and the an image from the Facebook video on the bottom. Trailer is the same.
