Found Deceased NC - Christopher Grubbs, 35, Davidson County, 20 Nov 2017

Authorities are searching for a man who went missing on Nov. 20, according to the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office.

The Sheriff’s Office said that Christopher Justin Grubbs, 35, left his residence on Nov. 20 without his medication. Officials described him as a 6-foot-1-inch male, weighing approximately 122 pounds. He was last seen wearing a brown Columbia hoodie with gray sweatpants. Grubbs has short hair with both ears pierced.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Grubbs may be driving a 2007 silver Dodge Caliber.

Anyone with information on Grubbs whereabouts is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at (336) 242-2105.

6'1 and 122 pounds is alarming. He may be in very poor health, so being without his meds could be very bad. Or maybe his low weight has nothing to do with his meds. I hope he is found soon!

Do you think there is any way possible it’s a typo? 6’1” and 122 would be skeletal and he doesn’t seem to be? Hmmmmm.

Sadly,

Body found in car down embankment near Lexington; car registered to missing man

The car was discovered around 3 p.m. down an embankment near the intersection of Odell Owen Road and Pine Top Road, west of Lexington.

Grice said the body has not yet been identified.

Family members say they were notified Grubbs' body was found at about 5 p.m. by Davidson County deputies.

There is no word on the cause of death.

We are saddened to report that on Thursday November 30, 2017, Davidson County Sheriff’s Investigators located Grubbs who was deceased inside of his vehicle. There is no further information available at this time. Thank you to all who shared and assisted with this matter.
