'FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — The family of a Fayetteville cold case victim is bringing his case back into the spotlight.
Twenty years ago on Nov. 20, Creg Keith Johnson was killed inside the Line Up Barber Shop on Yadkin Road.'

''Investigators said Johnson was working at the shop and was last seen cutting a customer’s hair around 9 p.m. before he was found dead the next morning.

Johnson’s family and Fayetteville Police Department asked for tips on the 20th anniversary of the cold case. The family is offering a $10,000 reward to find his killer.''

''According to police, Johnson was last seen alive cutting hair at the barber shop around 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 19, 2005. His body was found in the shop the next morning.
Johnson was known to work late, but family said he wouldn't have let someone inside he didn't know.
His family members say Johnson was a loving person with a generous heart who would often give free haircuts to people who couldn't afford them.''

''On November 20, 2005; Creg Johnson was found shot to death inside the business where he worked, the Line Up Barber Shop on Yadkin Road. The last time Creg Johnson was seen alive was on the evening of November 19, 2011 while working late with a customer. Creg Johnson was 35 years old at the time when he was murdered. Creg Johnson died after having been shot five times. It is believed that Johnson may have known the shooter and allowed the suspect into the building. Additionally, the investigation revealed that Creg Johnson attended a private party for a brief period of time on Kelmscot Court, a short distance from the barbershop, during the late afternoon/evening hours just prior to his death on November 19, 2005. Detectives are requesting that individuals with knowledge of Creg Johnson's activities in the two week period leading up to his death contact them. Anyone with information can call Detectives with the Homicide Division of the Fayetteville Police Department at (910) 433-1856 or Crime Stoppers at (910) 483-TIPS (8477).Tips leading to an arrest for the murder of Creg Johnson may be eligible for a reward up to $10,000.''
