David Whittington, 16, was in the custody of McDowell County Department of Social Services when he went missing on Feb. 15.

Teen charged in convenience store holdup

A Marion teenager was arrested and charged after he was caught on surveillance allegedly robbing a convenience store, according to reports.

The Marion Police Department charged David Allen Whittington, 18, of East Court Street in Marion with robbery with a dangerous weapon.



He was sentenced to 2 years and 2 months in prison for that robbery and it looks like he was released and is now on probation.
