A SoundCloud page attributed to Ross using the handle and stage name, @Mi$tr3 and m3lean, respectively, shows that multiple songs were uploaded within days of Woods’ and Clark’s deaths.

One song, titled “Glass,” contains lyrics about a “head shot” and “riding round with a new Glock,” though such references are arguably standard fare for certain varieties of hip-hop music.

In another song “In Th3 Akorn I Trust,” the narrator says: “I got red inside my car like I’m sipping on blood. So much red inside my car like in the Akorn I trust. Got some s**t I can’t talk about, I cannot discuss."

Cough syrup that is abused. Purple Drank is what I have heard it referred to as. Article below states:

i think in the song about akorn hes taking about dranking hella lean in his car while driving. but that doesnt mean the stuff he cant discuss is sinister stuff.

Nothing from ABC11 since the morning hearing was announced.

It was supposed to be a bond hearing and something about a motion for his property returned.

I won't be surprised if he refused transport -- citing his safety. I recall issues earlier over his security during transport and at the courthouse. MOO

ETA: Ross turned 18 on Dec 8.

Confirming he was transferred to Orange County Jail on 12/8. I think hearing was probably continued.

ANSWER: Two women are charged with felony hindering prosecution in connection with the case: Nakaysha Ross, 22, female, of Dover, Delaware; and McKenzie Mitchell, 21, female, of Dover, Delaware, Shelley Lynch of the Charlotte division for the FBI confirmed Monday for The Alamance News.

Investigators learned that Ross fled the area during the evening of September 18 and was believed to have been headed for Delaware, Orange County sheriff Charles Blackwood recalled during a press conference on November 7, when Nieman also announced that Ross will be tried as an adult.

Ross was apprehended by the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force on October 5 at Leander Lakes apartment complex in Dover, Delaware, Lynch told the newspaper Monday. The two women, Nakaysha Ross and McKenzie Mitchell, were also arrested at the Leander Lakes apartment complex, Lynch said.

Asked whether investigators have determined how the suspect knew the two women – or whether Issiah Ross and Nakaysha Ross are related – and how the 17-year-old traveled to Delaware, Lynch said she doesn’t have those details.

“Both are charged by state law enforcement in Delaware,” said Lynch, a public affairs specialist in the FBI’s office in Charlotte. “I do not have any information about court [dates] since the charges are not federal.”

Sgt. India Sturgis, a public information officer for the Delaware State Police, which assisted in apprehending Issiah Ross, had not responded to a separate inquiry from The Alamance News by press time.

(Retired pharmacist here) In large amounts, it can cause hallucinations, or boost the effects of other drugs. It's long been available as cough syrup, and abuse has led to it getting quite hard to find for legitimate uses.

I hadn't thought about this case for quite a while, and then saw it at the top of the feed.

Pending the defendant's move from Juvenile Hall to Orange County Jail on 12/8 (he's now attained legal age), I think the media was previously warned off the case. I think the families might start talking, and motions and court activity will be more readily available to report. Or so I hope!
