Greenville, NC Police Department

MISSING PERSON ALERT

Greenville police officers are asking the community to be on the lookout for 18-year-old Donovan Edge Coplin Jr. Coplin was reported missing around 9:30 tonight. He was last seen at a family member’s apartment in the 300 block of Lindsay Drive around 9:00 p.m.

Coplin is autistic with limited verbal capabilities. He responds to “yes” or “no” questions easily, and reportedly is more receptive to males than females. Coplin was last seen wearing a camouflage jacket, gray shirt, gray pajama pants and black and gray shoes. He is 6 feet tall and approximately 180 pounds (only photo we have is attached). Coplin resides at a group home in the Washington area and has a history of running away from there. However, given the current weather conditions and the fact that he is away from home, GPD officers are particularly concerned for his well being. A Silver Alert has been issued.

If located, please call the Greenville Police Department (252) 329-4300.
