Ms. Baker was last seen at 1323 Lasalle Street in Charlotte at 9:52 p.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2025. Ms. Baker was last seen driving her gray blue 2004 Honda Accord, displaying South Carolina Temporary License Plate HBL5984A.

Ms. Baker was last seen wearing a black, long sleeve shirt with “Panthers” written on the chest in white and blue, dark colored leggings and white shoes. She was carrying a black purse with a gold-colored strap.

Family members are concerned for Ms. Baker’s well-being and are seeking information on her whereabouts.

Anyone with information on Ms. Baker’s location or her vehicle’s location are asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.

Family and friends are searching for 31-year-old Charlotte mother Frezja Baker, who has been missing since Thursday.

Loved ones say it’s unlike her to go days without contacting anyone, especially her 2-year-old son. They’ve filed a missing persons report with CMPD as the search intensifies.

Baker’s father, Freddie Baker, says every day that passes becomes more agonizing, but he refuses to give up hope.

Freddie says the family learned that officers had been searching a wooded area nearby after reviewing the same gas station footage.

Two concerns - the man she was with was related to a very recently dismissed case she brought against a male for "communicating threats" which was dismissed.

OR, she's had a vehicular accident. She has a history of at least 3 DWI's, 2 of them in the last 18 months, one with a BAC of .15, as well as minor marijuana possession . One case is still pending, a summons was issued September 30, 2025 but I don't believe her hearing has been held yet.

Since the car is also missing at this time, she could be driving. One other thing that stuck out this morning when I re-read the report. It said
"Loved ones say it’s unlike her to go days without contacting anyone, especially her 2-year-old son" To me that implies that she might not always be in contact with her son. Did the grandmother have custody, or did he just do sleepovers? I operate Camp Grandma myself occassionally, sleepovers with grandparents if work or education schedules are busy isn't unusual for any family.

I , also, felt the wording of that sentence seemed to say the 2 year old did not live with her.
Zero pictures of a two year old son on her FB either...but that might just be protection related...
She was rapidly posting gobs and gobs of stuff the day before she went missing... some do raise questions.

The body in the car was identified as the missing woman. Her death is reported as now being infestigated as a homicide. Victim identified as missing mother in west Charlotte homicide

No one has been named POI. As I noted before she had a criminal complaint against an individual (arrest made in June of 2025) for that person threatening to kill her. The case was ultimately dismissed in late October when the witness for the prosecution failed to show. Portal

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said on Friday, Dec. 12 that they charged 38-year-old Lorenza Inman Jr., for killing 31-year-old Frezja Baker, who was reported missing more than a week ago and was found dead inside her car behind a church off Sanders Avenue.

Inman was charged with murder, assault on a female, and misdemeanor crime of domestic violence.

Police said that Inman was arrested in Maxton, North Carolina and was transferred into the custody of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office.

I had already looked Inman up in the North Carolina Judicial system yesterday (The North Carolina Judicial Branch) when his name first popped up in social media as being with Frezja. Initiaially I found one closed arrest (with a separate case for resulting bond forfeiture), for doing prohibited tattoos (2009 - Case No. Case No. 09CR205120-590). There is another person of the same name born in 1960 that has more court records (mostly vehicular and family court items) but his the suspects DOB is 1987. His Facebook. Cantbetouched Nuna But in finding the following, I went further into court records and there's more which I'll post separetly in a moment:

THIS was pretty concerning - he had been released on probation in lieu of jail time for a recent assault.

The more I look the more there is (though I haven't yet found the alleged attempted murder the press referred to). For brevity I left off the minor drug, non felony larcerny, breaking and entering, disorderly conduct charges. All are criminal cases from Meclenbug Superior Court.
