Circumstances of Recovery: Originally found by a car lot owner that repossessed vehicles. Bone was found in the trunk of a car and thought to be a dog chew toy. Then a storage unit was being cleared in 2011, when this bone was discovered again and then turned over to law enforcement.

Not finding any additional info on this case. I'm guessing it was a long bone since a ht was provided, however noting it says measured instead of estimated. The case was entered into Namus in April 2012 with no modifications that I can see, including Biological Sex, which would have been updated if sample was good enough to produce DNA results which would indicate such. Perhaps that has not been done and/or the case has not be updated.
