WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — A family is desperate to find their loved one after he went missing on Sunday.

Kim Whitehurst, 69, of Winston-Salem, has been reported as a high-risk missing person, His family says this is because he is in the early stages of what they believe to be dementia.

He stands outside the building for a while, then he leaves in an unknown direction.

Sad news :(


On Friday, around 4:30 p.m., officers were called to the 3100 block of Minart Drive, where they said they found the body of a man in a deep ravine.

The victim's description matched Kim Whitehurst, a man reported missing on Jan. 5.
