Burlington pair held in lawn equipment thefts

Two suspects are in custody in the theft of lawn equipment from landscaping trucks and trailers.

Kristin Rhew, 30, of 2626 Rolling Meadows Lane, Burlington, and Tab Bartholomew Brooks, 22, of 1204 N. Miami Blvd., Durham, are charged with felony possession of stolen property, and attempting to obtain property by false pretense. Both are in the Alamance County jail on $10,000 secured bond.
