Tamika says her son drives a 2009 black Honda Civic.

"His phone keeps going to voicemail, and messages are not going through. It’s not like him to go without talking to me," Tamika wrote.

Tamika has organized search efforts in several Triad cities, including a recent search on Saturday morning. She had started the new year searching for her son.

"I have been out since 7 a.m. this morning looking everywhere for him. Somebody knows something," she wrote on New Year's Day. "Please help bring my son home."

Tamika says her work isn't done until her son is found.

"Just know that I am working very hard to get you home. I love you, and I miss you so much. I will never stop this process until you are found," Tamika said.

A missing person report has been filed with Greensboro police and there is an ongoing investigation surrounding LaeQuan Little's disappearance.

He's currently out in $65,000 bond on some serious drug trafficking charges. I feel for his mom, hopefully she didn't put up any personal monies for the fee to the bail bond company, she has enough to worry about. I fear given his driving history, either an accident, or something harmful to his well being involving those parties he was trafficking with/for. Hopefully, he is just voluntarily missing pending upcoming hearings and will contact his mom.

When he bonded out in August he listed his address as 2408 Bywood Rd. Greensboro (form from judicial site I linked earlier is attached). That address is listed in the white pages as belonging to (or being the legal residence of) his Mom. It could be that he lived there or simply used that address for the courts.

seems like there are two possible reasons for him to be missing. He is avoiding his legal woes, or someone involved with his illegal activities doesn't want to worry about him talking and implicating them to get a plea deal.

I feel badly for his mom, but I suspect it's the former and not the latter.

'I just want to find my child': Mother pleading for answers after son went missing in Greensboro

Tamika Little says she last heard from her son LaeQuan Little on December 30th. He was supposed to pick up his daughter the next day, New Year's Eve, but never did.

"The mother of his child called me and said that he was talking really fast saying 'I'm in the grass, I'm in the grass,' she couldn't understand what else he was saying," Little said. "So she asked me to see if I could interpret it. She then clicked over and he wasn't on the phone."

I am assuming she misspoke and meant receiving a phone call at 3 am on New Year's Day (January 1)? 3 am on December 31 would have been a full 28 hours before his mother started searching (7 am, January 1).

The Greensboro Police Department have spoken out after the body of a missing 26-year-old man was found in a pond.

An independent underwater recovery team found Laequan Tyriq Little, 26, of Greensboro, and his vehicle in a retention pond at an apartment complex on the 1400 block of Bridford Parkway on Jan. 13.

Two independent divers, Adam Brown and Jeremy Sides, said they gave police a vital tip to help locate a missing Greensboro man. They are part of the nonprofit Rapid Compassion Collective, a group focused on helping families with missing loved ones by searching lakes, ponds and rivers with their own equipment.
