He has the following tattoos: a skull and crossbones with the word "Hell Raiser" on his left arm, a man in a coat and the words "Death Before Dishonor" on his right arm, a dragon and the words " Lord" on his back, and the words "Maddie RIP" and praying hands on his chest.

Details of Disappearance​

Funderburk was last seen on Clairmore Place in Charlotte, North Carolina on March 25, 2016. He has never been heard from again. His family reported him missing on May 31. Few details are available in his case.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. — The human remains that were discovered at Leonard's Salvage in Lexington last week have been identified as a Charlotte man who was last seen in 2016, according to the Davidson County Sheriff's Office.

The medical examiner determined that the remains belong to Lee Anthony Funderburk, who was reported missing on May 31, 2016 after not returning home. Funderburk's cause of death is homicide, according to the medical examiner.

The remains found at the scrapyard were identified as Funderburk and investigators say that his cause of death was a homicide.

Deputies say that Funderburk was not killed in Davidson County and they have turned their evidence over to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

His son, Elton Robinson, said the discovery brings both grief and closure for the family.

”I even still called his phone … in hopes of him answering. I would call it and call it. Some days, I would just sit there … call it … back to back to back and no answer,” Elton said
