I got the alert also. Is he attracted to water? Is there a lot of lakes or ponds where he disappeared?

Not sure about attraction. It does sound like he is Autistic. There are many ponds and some creeks in the area. Packing up my gear. Will be on the road shortly.

I got the alert yesterday. I was hoping for good news this morning. Like most of you, I'm unfortunately thinking of rivers and ponds, but there's an awful lot of woods there. In this case, woods would be a better scenario for sure. If he would run when called, hopefully they are using voice recordings of a loved one to tell him to stay in one place and perhaps make noises such as banging a stick on a tree. It's going to be like finding a needle in a haystack unless dogs have been able to catch his scent. So, so sad!! Please teach your children to Hug a Tree. This is an initiative of the National Search and Rescue Association. Praying they can find him soon. It's getting colder at night.
